You are probably wondering, is “Obesogen” even a word?  According to Webster’s it’s not a word, yet, but I have a feeling it will be in the near future.  

    “Obesogen” is the newest catch-phrase related to obesity.   “Obesogen” refers to foreign chemicals that have the potential to cause obesity in humans.   Obesogen has most recently been used to describe Bisphenol-A (BPA) which is a chemical found in many plastic products.   Many manufactures have already changed their product lines in order to be “BPA Free”
